Lesson Learned

As young parents you often wonder how much your kids really listen to your converstations outside of what you say directly to them. Of course you have to mind your P's & Q's because they are like little sponges and record players; but it is when they repeat something with the same emphasis that you have said it, at sometime in the past that really catches you off guard. Case in point: While driving in a strip mall to find a particular resteraunt Matt and I are discussing where it could be...Brenden must have thought Matt was getting worked up and promplty responds "Dad, calm down!". Of course as I am laughing Matt's response to me is..."that just isn't right". Kids hear more than we think they do.
